Please Read this before You Ship Your Scissors!!!

1. We do not recommend sending your packages via UPS or Fed Ex. We highly recommend sending your packages in via your local postal carrier!

We have found that dealing with customs with Fed Ex and UPS can be extremely difficult and often times, very expensive. We have also found that the rates are higher and it will take longer with UPS and Fed Ex.

2. When filling out the customs forms, it is very important to fill in the following information:

a. Type of Contents = “Returned Goods”
b. More Info = “Personal Goods, Used Repaired Scissors, No Commercial Value”
c. Description = Haircutting Scissors
d. Weight = (approximately) 2 oz per scissor
e. Value = Cost of the Service(s) ($45.00 for 1st pair and $40.00 for each additional pair).

If the forms are not filled out properly, you will be charged customs, duties and taxes. Please make sure you follow all of the above steps to avoid paying duties and taxes on serviced items. We will not be held liable for any incorrect duties or taxes that the shipping company charges. If we are charged for duties or taxes on your shipment, we must collect these funds from you before we can ship your scissor.
